  5. 5 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  6. 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  7. 1-2 Tbsp Gochugaru
  8. 4 Large Eggs
  9. 4 Tbsp Butter
  10. Veg Oil For Frying (I Use Grapeseed Oil)
  11. Salt (To Taste)
  12. Pepper (To Taste)
  13. Sliced Green Onions or Chives (Garnish)

Instructions to make Korean Beef Hash

  1. Scrub Potatoes Well. Poke several holes in potatoes with fork, and place on a paper towel lined plate. Microwave potatoes on your microwave's potato setting for around 7 - 8 Minutes, turning half way through. Remove and let cool slightly. Dice into 1" pieces, set aside. Prep other ingredients.
  2. Heat Large Cast Iron Skillet To Medium Heat. Once Hot Add Oil. Add Diced Leeks. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper. Stir and Cook for around 2 Minutes, Add Minced Garlic. Stir and Cook for another minute or two, or until Leeks have softened.
  3. Clear space in center of pan, and add Ground Beef. Break up into small pieces Season with Salt and Pepper. Cook until browned, around 6 Minutes.
  4. Add Gochugaru, Soy Sauce, and Kimchi. Add one at a time and in that order, stirring well each time. Cook until Kimchi has softened, around 5 Minutes.
  5. Clear large space in the center of the pan, add Butter. Once melted, add potatoes. Mix with butter well, season with Salt and Pepper, then incorporate with the other food in pan. Spread mixture evenly across the pan, and begin to press down and flatten with a spatula. Press down until an even layer is pressed against the bottom of the pan.
  6. Cook for about 5 - 7 Minutes, then flip. Cut mixture into sections, and flip one at a time. Flatten out evenly again, and cook for another 5 Minutes. Continue to flip every few minutes, until both sides of potatoes are browned.
  7. Turn off heat. Clear 4 wells into food mixture with wooden spoon, exposing the bottom of the pan. Pour a little oil into each. Carefully, crack an egg into each hole. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper. Turn burner back on to medium low, cover, and cook for about 5 Minutes or until egg whites are set and yolks are still runny. Garnish with Green Onions or Chives. Enjoy!

It's homemade in Portland Oregon & sent out in sealed bags with freezer packs. It's also fermented with transit time in mind, so it arrives in perfect condition.
